The painter's intention is always the same: to superimpose a wholly subjective and unconditional statement onto the support base. The brush strokes, the dashes and the use of tools and spatulas are guided by the artist through her constant and conscious attention. That is, an attention that allows the artist's inner self to come out in the painting.
Such an expressive art form does not allow for any clichés, nor does it allow for hesitation and, above all, it does not allow for any opportunistic and deceptive hypocrisy; it points at the truth.
As is usually the case, the subjects represented come from human existence. These are mainly faces with their own particular details. Their realization is achieved through the lines, even if only faint ones, which are integrated and enhanced by more decisive, and very vivid, expressive movements. In their execution, various materials have been used for their backstories and main body, which on the surface of the works, can be easily read.
The artist's preference for bright colours that contrast with each other, typical of the Expressionist style, noticeably fills up the backgrounds, which are often quite vast. Managing such large areas, and being able to rise to the challenge they represent, allows the painter to solve the problem of the vast blank space through large statements, which are as penetrating as they are high in intensity.
